Competition Process 대회진행 방식

각 팀에게는 총 35분이 주어짐. Each SAGE team will be given a 35-minute time block at the competition.

첫 10분/First 10 minutes:
참가팀은 심사위원들에게 준비해온 사업보고서를 바로 나누어줍니다. 심사위원들이 사업보고서를 읽는 동안, 참가팀은 프리젠테이션 장비 및 소품 등을 신속히 설치합니다. 구두 프리젠테이션이 시작되기 전에 심사위원들은 심사기준에 따라 사업보고서에 대한 점수를 매깁니다.
The SAGE team will immediately hand out their annual reports to the judges. While the judges are reading the annual report, the team will set up its equipment, set up props, etc. Before the oral presentation begins, judges will score the written annual report according to the SAGE judging criteria.

다음 13분/Next 13 minutes:
참가팀은 구두 및 시청각 자료를 이용하여 프리젠테이션을 진행합니다. 이때 제품을 시연할 수 있으나, 심사위원들 개개인이 검품해볼 수 있도록 심사위원들에게 제품을 건네서는 안됩니다.
The team will give their oral/audio-visual presentation. Teams are allowed to demonstrate their products during the presentation, but they cannot hand them out to judges for individual inspection.

다음 7분/Next 7 minutes:
의무 질의응답 시간 Mandatory question and answer period.

마지막 5분/Last 5 minutes:
참가팀은 모든 장비를 챙겨서 퇴실하면 됩니다. 심사위원들의 심사가 진행됩니다.
SAGE team will remove all its equipment and exit the room while the judges score the team.

세부설명

1. 서면으로 작성된 사업보고서 Annual Report/Written Annual report (10 minutes)

참가팀은 주어진 프리젠테이션 시간의 첫 10분 동안 심사 위원들이 읽고 채점을 할 수 있도록 서면으로 작성된 사업보고서를 제출해야 합니다.
Teams must hand out a written annual report to be read and scored by judges during the first 10 minutes of the team’s presentation time slot.

이 사업보고서는 표지를 포함하여 A4 용지 4페이지로 구성되어야 합니다.
Written annual reports are limited to a total of four (4) printed pages on 8 ½ by 11 paper (or two pages front to back).

사업보고서의 겉표지는 모두 4페이지 중 하나로 간주되니 페이지 구성에 주의하시기 바랍니다. 또한 사업보고서 복사본이나 추천서, 제품 샘플 등은 나눠주어서는 안되며, 이를 위반할 경우 전체 점수에서 5점이 자동으로 감점됨을 숙지하시기 바랍니다. 하지만, 관련 기사나 홍보결과물 등은 포함시킬 수 있으며, 개인 명함 등은 배포할 수 있습니다.
If a team uses a cover or back page, it will count as one of those four pages. Teams may NOT distribute copies of business plans, letters of commendation, or sample products. Violation of this rule will result in an automatic 5-point deduction from the team’s total score. Teams may include copies of newspaper articles, newsletters, and other media as evidence of media attention; presenters may also distribute personal business cards.

2. 구두 및 시청각 프리젠테이션 (13분)
Oral/Audio-Visual Presentation (13 minutes)

프리젠테이션이 시작된 후 9분이 지나면 대회진행자가 "1분 남았다는 경고"를 해줍니다. 10분이 되면 대회진행자는 참가팀에게 프리젠테이션을 마무리 하도록 요청합니다. 만약 참가팀이 본 세션을 13분 전에 마칠 경우 남은 시간은 질의응답시간으로 사용됩니다. 즉, 본 세션을 12분에 마칠 경우, 나머지 1분은 질의응답시간으로 사용되어 질의응답 시간이 8분으로 늘어납니다. 만약 13분 내에 끝내지 않을 경우, 빨리 끝마치도록 종용됩니다.
After 9 minutes have elapsed, the league coordinator will announce a “one-minute warning.” At the 10 minute mark, the league coordinator will ask the team to finish its oral presentation. The team has 13 minutes to make its oral presentation; if the team ends prior to 13 minutes, the Q&A time period will be extended by the shortfall. For example, if a team finishes its oral presentation in 12 minutes, it will be given a total of 8 minutes for Q&A. If a team isn’t finished in 13 minutes, it will be interrupted to end its oral presentation.

3. 질의 응답(7분) Question and Answer Session (7 minutes)

2번의 프리젠테이션이 끝난 후 의무적으로 7분간의 질의응답 시간을 갖게 됩니다.

심사위원들은 질의응답 세션에서는 다음 사항을 채점의 주요 사안으로 눈여겨 보게 됩니다.

1. 전체적인 효과: 심사위원들로부터 받은 질문에 기초하여, 참가 학생들이 자신들이 사업계획서와 프리젠테이션에서 보여준 비지니스 관련 지식을 얼마나 잘 시연해보였는지 여부
2. 균형: 참가팀 학생들이 고루 답변을 하였는지, 아니면 한 두 학생이 장악했는지 여부
3. 프리젠테이션 자세: 학생들이 단상에서 자심감이 있었는지 그리고 세련된 프리젠테이션 기량을 보여주었는지의 여부
